Sports den fitters

My buddy luke works over there, and he knows what he's talking about. I can't vouch for the rest tho.

I'm sure they can fit boots pretty well, but that store is really focused on the rich older people. I know when I was shopping for boots, they had a lot of really expensive cushy boots, but they were missing a lot of the more stripped down performance boots that will give you the most control. So be sure to check other places too.

Yeah. And they are just terrible with younger customers. Everytime I walk in they just look at me like I'm going to steal something. And when I ask questions they don't even look at me, then they give a shitty answer. I try to avoid that place.

And, what other good boot fitters are in SLC, or places where I can get my liners heat molded for free/cheap?

The place at the mouth of the canyon (lifthouse?) had good service and boots. I remember I tried on a low volume, stripped down Technica boot there. I should have bought it, the only place I saw that boot in town. For free heat molding, just do it yourself at REI. Take your boots in, and they've got the whole setup there. Just say you bought them there and want to mold them yourself if anybody asks. I like doing it that way better than letting a random shop employee do it, I know what kind of fit I want.

Lifthouse! I couldn't think of the name in my last post. And Thanks for the advice about doing it at REI. I didn't know that option was available. On the subject of boots, does anyone still rip the old Raichle Flexons or the new Full Tilt ones. I got a pair of FT Camos, and am way stoked to see what all the hype is about.

Sports Den has some good deals everyonce in a while and most the ski guys are pretty good, but the customer service is better at a fucking Denny's on a friday night. Fuck that place.
