ahhh sportbikes are the shit, i dont own one but ive ridden a ducati 996 as well as a zx-636 and a couple cbr 600s. i cant wait till i can afford one, its the insurance payments that kill you

Get a Suzuki GSX-R 600 if its a first bike...I had one it was wickeddd sick so much fun!

i bought an older one 91' yamaha fzr600, pretty decent starter bike. My insurance just carrying liability is 46 bucks a month. Don't buy a brand new bike for your first one. Get a used older one to get used to riding and shit, insurance is cheaper, and if you wreck it you're not still making payments on a bike you don't have.

thanks so much to all you that responded and that nobody used the word "crotch rocket." that has to be the most meaningless fucking phrase in the history of phrases. Its even worse then "sports car," and its pretty much tied with "SUV." People call 250 Ninjas "crotch rockets" and they call 999 Ducati's and Hyabusas "crotch rockets."
