read the previous posts, I'm a Quebecer and it's an expression we use and no, it doesn't mean to fuck men.

it's kinda like shiiiiittt men, anyway, you know what I wanted to say

hell yea! dude if i could get paid to ski id be in heaven. it my dream. my dream is to get my degree in engineering and just go pro so when i get too old i have that to fall back on. like i dream about it every day and i feel like im getting older im almost 19 and i just have to go crazy this year and progress like crazy before its too late and im too old

i love what you had to say. thats the kind of attitude we all need to have, ha if i had you there telling me that every morning before i get on the ski hill i would be set. well done.

Thats tight. Inspired me, I always wanted to go pro, or atleast get sponsored skiing. This post just totally gave me a new perspective on doing that. +k

There are tons of insanely talented skiers out there now. some of the athletes we have on our regional teams now a days would have been our top dogs 5-10 years ago. So while it may be harder to get noticed and stand out from the pack today, you have to stick with the theme in this thread and just go out and do it and have passion and keep on charging. Do you think Sage thought he would be getting well paid to heli ski and film all winter when he first moved out to Alta as a dishwasher? No, but he knew that skiing was his life and that he had to do whatever it took to shred everyday. Just like anything, you have to realize your dream and then go get it.

A bit of advice on sending companies a sponsor me video: it is great to include all the banger footage and contest results etc, but one thing that aspiring skies often overlook is the interview footage. You know, give us some insight as to what your personality is like. Companies need to hear you speak and see what you look like so they can be reassured that you will properly represent the brand. You can be the baddest man on two skis, but if you act like a douchbag or asswipe on the hill, then you are doing your sponsors no good.

Keep your dreams alive, realize that getting spansoredized is not just about being the best skier and as long as you ski because it is the funnest thing ever, you will win.

Man this is it!!!

That's good that you give guys like me still hope to be sponsored and appreciated...

And by saying that you don't have to be good to be sposored, i like...

make no mistake, you have to be damn good to get sponsored, but you also have to be able to communicate and promote. Good luck and keep on charging
