Other than winning park and pipe contests, how do young skiers get recognized? You coudl run into some huge producer going down moguls in style or hucking a cliff in the backcountry, but not likely. How do you get sponsors without being a park-rat? Just wanna know.

 
do physco shit so ppl know ur name, then ur name spreads, ppl know u , reps see and ehar about u, etc. if ur good enough sponsors will find u, or u can send vids in to shops or companies. wutever tho, if its meant to be itll happen, just ski for the love of it

its fine to say ski for the love of it, or ski for yourself

but if you ride hard and frequently like i do, your shit breaks, or your skis just lose their life and start throwing you out of them. i just got brand new 03 concepts and ill prolly have to get new ski for next year, but i accept that.

the truth is, im gonna be skiing no matter what, but if somebody wants to hook me up with some free shit cause they think i got skillz, more power to em

my intire crew waited for his ass at the bottem of the hill and beat the shit out of him. i broke his poles agianst a tree, and we snapped one of his skis. fucker got uppercutted so much. he was bleeding from his eyes and shit, crying like a little pussy. i busted out a body slam on his ass and broke both of his arms. the ski patroler broke up the fight and clipped all of our tickets. we where gonna beat the shit out of the patroller but my mom came to pick us up.

just keep riding...progress. then hit up big comps. go to summer camps...make friendships with reps and/or team mangers...people of those types...then youll be in pretty good

I would like to be sponsored but that imply some responsabilities like go to lot of comps and win them. I dont like to have this pressure when I ski. So just ski because you love it and when you will be able to do big tricks without being stressed you will be able to get sponsored easily

now any pro skier will tell you that the secret to getting sponsored is having a good pair of knee pads. though you may rip, you're going to have to suck some serious dick on your way to the top. another secret is to always carry a tube of ky jelly around so that when you get fucked over, it doesn't hurt as much. if you have a sibling, it's nice to be able to pimp them out instead of yourself. if you're family supports your goals, try having a talk with your mom. and always remember, it's not polite to spit. oh, and winning the us open helps too. to learn the tricks of the pros, visithttp://www.pornopalace.com they know all the moves.

 
go to the X-Qualifer dressed in a pink bunny suit with you name on the back. You'll definitely get some attention that way

Um andy, a lot of us just don't have the money for summer camps, nor is it directly available to a lot of us. We don't all live in whistler, or val d'isere. But i must say, line is pbly the best ski company to get sponsored by, because they care the least about comps, not to say they don't care at all.

another good way to get sponsored is bu a company Not in the ski industry. Go to your local gas station or small buisness and ask for a small sponsorship.

make a vdeo an send it to some low level ski companies or some that have something to with skiing such as equipment, clothing, local buisness's an see where u get, comps are always nice to, peace out

 
but getting sponsored also makes you want to rip harder so more people look at you

i dont live in whistler, or in any ski town. in fact, i dont even live in canada. i live in a shitty place called...yakima. and i too, dont have the money to go to ski camp. never been in a camp, and never plan on it. i gave my *suggestion*, so there shouldnt be any problem with what i said

send vids to big ski companies who have a shitload of money to toss around...try salomon...i heard anybody who has progressed past the pizza stop can get sponsored by them.
