all you 15 year old kiddies on here stop making these videos. we see these sponsor me tapes way too much and WTF makes you think you can actually sell them for money?!? don't create some "production" company called eeste cohste killas productions and try and sell some video of your friends who think they're good. learn how to ski, real skiing, not park sliding.

 
Ummm I think you're mocking two different things there buddy. Sponsor-me videos people post just to show other people what they got, and maybe for tips. On the other hand, all these new producers, I agree with you there, there are too many fake ones, but at least most of them can ski better than you...so lets just take a deep breath and be happy you get a free site that shows this stuff.

i am not mad...i just think it's mocking skiing in a sense and i hope that some young kid that is super interested in starting skiing see's the "film" and laughs and goes and buys a snowboard.

Like I said, sure they get annoying after a while, but com'on, its a free website, and we get free trailers to random companies, sure maybe some of them suck, at least u can watch different skiing everyday. Not the same trailer over and over again...

great, make your videos! i like coming on here and watching videos and seeing people getting involved. its all these kids who make these shit videos and think they can stand up to "the pros", and think they know everything there is to know about skiing and the industry. i want to see this site become more quality (the site construction is good), its the members, the topics, the discussion, the originality, the creativity, etc... i don't want these kids to be such pawns of the industry.

...and to become better skiers rather then park rats.

Also who are you to say what skiing is? Why does it have to be skiing down some trail making turns? I dont see how you wouldnt consider some thing on skis, skiing. Skiing isnt about what you think it is, its about having fun, and riding the park is fun to me. So you cant say hitting rails or jumps isnt skiing, becuse it is.

15 year olds...i hate ny productions consist of a 20 year old, 2 18 or 19 year olds, 17 year old, 16 year old, and 15 year old...others that are between 16 and 18 too. sw ups on a long 3 kink, double sw up on a 6ft tall 40ft rainbow in the middle of summer! i doubt many pros would do that....

i agree 110% - skiing is for fun and making short films is for fun. i think the topic here is...if you are going to make a film and try to sell it to the ski public, do it right. do a real press release on newschoolers or something, they could use the extra money giving us all a place to argue about skiing, it's only $100 buck at MOST!!

just think of all the films you could sell with only a $100 investment!!

in some ways what is happening to ski films is what happened to skate boarding...

the most influential films are from relatively unknown film companies...sure msp can make a good movie...hell give me seven figures and i can make Mt. Tom in connecticut look dope...but its the kids doing it 24/7....summer urban, all sorts of craziness...i personally think urban skiing is a joke. BUT I think it is freaking awsome that there are groms that are so into it that they will create a setup in the middle of summer....fuk the haters...just ride...

1. i admire the hard work you put into the trailer

2. it's rad to see kids making films, similar to skate

3. i think if you want to sell them you need to do it

right. look at the homepage of this site...there is

wut the hell is with these people. for some perople makin movies are not just about the skiing, its an artisitic outlet same as painting or music just a differ medium. my trailer might not have been the greatest skiing ever but everyone in it are elite mogul skiers that are having fun in the park. so shradical i could ski fuckin cirlces around you cause i have been training moguls since i was 8. the other producer was one of the best racers in canada until he quit and now he throws rightside 450 on. everyone in the film is truely a talented skier. just cause all we can throw are cork 3s,5s and sevens doesnt mean we suck, means we are learning and trying harder. so fuck you for trying to crush the east coast little guy

not very many people make sponsor vids and post on ns...its more of posting their small movie trailers. you may watch their trailer this year and think "wow they blow why post it" but next year they might be really good. the movie we made 3 years ago blew. last year was pretty good. and this year bogart will be dope. next year will be mucho better
