I talked to this guy at my local ski shop. He said if i sent in a video he would most likely sponsor me because i wnts to put a team together. Can anyone give me any tips on what people look for in a "sponsor me video."

you showing you working your ass off to learn and get better, obviously good tricks and style. Adding an interview always helps because it shows a personal side of you and they can get a feel for who you are. Make sure to drop their name a couple times and you should be all set. good luck!

Show a large variety of tricks on different features. Like said above interviews help. Editing and filming help the appearence of a video. A mod made a huge sponsorship guide once, I will try to find that it had a lot of good tips.

Good style, Dope ass tricks, and good editing.. watch some ski vids, that may help you with how to set up a good vid.

well watch any superunknown videos

and like a good mix of footage, not jsut rails, not jsut crazy spins, some good style

and give yourself a good image( dont put in you smoking weed, or make yourself look like a dick)

i dunno jsut rep yourself

appropriate song

like someone else said dont show yourself smoking weed

good variety

good flow

don't just do skiing

throw in like clips of you hiking or doing something else to switch it up

agreed. Show you falling on a trick a few times cuz everyone does then put the landed one in so it looks like you work really hard. Good luck

taking most of this advice wont get you anything.

dont just hand the guy a video. prepare a resume specifically for the shop. include any results you have in comps, a short video (60 seconds TOPS no filler) and some of your best photos. also includes some goals you have for the upcoming season and let the company know what you feel you can do for them. let them know why its their shop you want to work with, as opposed to other shops. also, let them know what you are looking for from a sponsor. good videos help and all, but you also have to show that you have a head on your shoulders

Watch Travis Steeger's about 20 times. That's the coolest one I've ever seen. RIP. It wasn't like any of his tricks were the cleanest or the sickest. But he did a swan dive to a dub front off a cliff with his jacket opened. I like to see creativity and fun.

Like said before look presentable and respectable, they dont want to sponsor the asshole of the hill. If the shop has stickers be sure to get shots of those or something the get the store known because it shows that you are ready to rep them. Hit different features, do different tricks, and if your limited on feature count then get different angles hitting it.
