I'm thinking about moving to Spokane. My friend just got an apartment in the South Hill area and has offered me a place to stay. Any thoughts on the city? Mt. Spokane or 49 North? Any feedback is welcome.

I wouldn't advise anyone to move to spokane that place is a shit hole.

It depends where you are moving form. Both those resorts will be like mt. everest if you are moving from the east coast. But yeah there are better places to live if you are in it for the skiing. I will be at Bluewood this season, which is a bit further drive than those two. LEt me know if you make the move and I can give you a tour of the place on some weekend

Thats an insult to the East. Their are many many east coast mountains with more acreage, more vertical drop, more annual snowfall, and way better terrain parks than mt spokane.

On the other hand, if you're moving from a midwest state like michigan or ohio, i'd consider spokane an upgrade.

I just moved to Spokane from salt lake last summer. Did you end up making the move? It would be sweet to have a shred buddy

Naw, I ended up moving to Bozeman, Montana. Wishing I would have settled in Spokane since the cost of living is super high in Bozeman.

It was more of a joke. Eastern Washington is mostly hills, I don't really call anything a mountain until you get north into BC or hit the cascades.

Moving to Spokane in the next couple months. We should definitely meet up, dude.

For sure! I don’t know how much longer I’ll be here but I shouldn’t be going anywhere anytime soon. Where are you coming from?
