Im goin to college at Gonzaga next semester and i wondering bout skiing around Spokane. I know Schweitzer is pretty dope but its like 2 hours drive. Anyone know much bout Mt. Spokane or their park, is it legit? or of any other close resorts. wish Snoqualmie was closer

mt spokane is nice but the park is so so. You should drive to mission ridge in wenatchee. Its where i ski and is so legit. The mountain has sick pow runs and the locals will show you around. the park is built by a skate shop in town and is good but not nearly as big as shwitzer

Mt. Spokane is alright, the parks isnt anything much but its really close and they have night skiing. Other than Schweitzer, Silver and 49 North are alright. Schweitzer is your best bet if you can find someone with a cabin to stay at, there are lots of cliffs and drops if you know were to find them and the park is halfways decent. Just dont get killed driving up 95.

Oh yeah, this spring go to the Coeur D' Alene resort when its warm cause there are tons of hot girls and the lake is sick.

mt spokane is crap. jumps are terrible but they have a few decent rails to sesh. its fun nightskiing though. the drive to schweitzer is worth it

i go to gu and ski at 49 (where i grew up) and its a pretty decent mountain. we got a new park manager this year and a bunch of new features, so anyone who hasnt been up there lately shouldnt bash it. not the greatest terrain unless you like glades, but it can definitely be a sweet place to ski

schweitzer has some really good terrain imo and is the shit on a pow day, definitely the best place in the area, kinda far but if you can usually find rides from someone, most kids from gu ski at schweitzer

mt spokane is kinda weak, but it has some pretty good night skiing and its a pretty shitty drive from campus even though its the closest

red definitely has the best terrain around but its probably to far to drive to every weekend, but you should definitely try to make it up there if you get the chance

i've never skied silver, but i hear its pretty good and its a pretty decent drive... all on i-90, ummm, thats all i can come up with now, hope this helped

I've only been to Schweitzer once... it was pretty meh. I mean, I didnt know any local spots or any of that, but the inbounds terrain was pretty one-dimensional from what I can remember. Probably shouldnt base your decision off my shitty memory, but yeah~

i beg to differ,

schweitzer has a good park, good groomer, good inbounds non-groomed stuff(hit up pucci's, siberia, misfortune, australia and green grass on a powder day)
