Yeah I'm an intern with PBP. I'm actually in the office right now haha. I'm going to college in LA so it's perfect for interning at the office; usually I just do little promotional edits for them/help out with editing webisodes/stuff like that. But over winter break Walker and Alexi went to Spokane (which is where both Cody Carter and I are from) so I filmed alongside Cody for a few days.
It actually wasn't too bad. Both Cody and Alport are super nice dudes. But they definitely move fast when it comes to setting up shots, which is not my specialty haha.
It was rad though because Cody usually covered the primary angle so that he would for sure get the shot, so I was free to play around and get lots of close ups and artsy shit. So even though I didn't come away with nearly as many shots as Cody, I have a few really cool filler/sequence shots that I'm super stoked on and will hopefully make the movie if I'm lucky.
I'm sorry, but that was really poorly written. Great shots, but he could've conveyed his points a little more... professionally? Maybe I'm just weird. Sounds fun though!
Also, when you say Newport H.S... do you mean like Newport on the east side of Seattle? That's a long, long drive from Spokane.
He's not really a professional or anything, so I don't think he worries about it too much. He's still pretty young and only got into photography recently, but he's been killing it.
And no, it's a SMALL town close to Spokane. It's basically right on the Idaho border
trust me, we were talking about going to pullman the whole time. cody knows how many good rails are there. at the time this all happened, pullman didn't really have the snow and we didn't really have the time
i can not wait for the premiere. hey are you doin silver saturdays. ps. noah i rode with you and joe at the kan with my friend jordan boone, dont know if you remember him
hey will i love how you chose that swing set. i drive by that thing at least 20 times a month and i guess you got to it before me you should check Bowish middle school, or Lincoln park up on the south hill. they have some good rails, that one at bowdish you have to hit in sections because holy cow its big, or go to chase middle school, pre much spokane is urban gold. ferris would be good but my school is getting torn apart and they took all the spots :/
soooo many different options... c rail to down rail transfer, like a 200ft long 10 kink thats mellow enough to not pick up too much speed, and many, many, many more. I would be walking to classes or around town and just think of all the pro level urban features.
yeah it's insane. if you guys ever need a place to crash or a guide for some urban next season hit me up! ive been taking mental notes left and right as to some places that would make for incredible shots.
