my parents make us work and buy our own cars. they think we will be more careful drivers that way because it's 'our money' but it happens alot around her. kid's daddies by them bmw's all the time. i'v learned to accept the fact that my car is going to be absolute crap. :/

Not everyone can be that lucky i guess.

My parents have loads of money, but they still makes me work and I pay for everything I want myself.

They didn't even pay for my license (which will be in my mail for 6 days), it costs $2000 here.

Anyway, I bought myself a Toyota Corolla Levin (AE86) last year and have spendt countless hours restoring it so I could have a really fast badass car now.

ok, i just think that everyone needs to make up their minds, its like we make fun of the kid with the p.o.s. and then the kid with the nice car is also a dumbass. i dont get it. i think everyone should give less of a shit about what everyone else has and like what you have. the only reason i can see to hate these kids is if they act like a total jackass about it, then that isnt cool. i have a 99 explorer, and it is pretty nice, but i try not to make my friends or anyone else feel bad about it because it was the car i was given, and my parents wont let me get a job until im 18, so it is all i have.

My friend made fun of the corolla I drive, but he didn't even have a car to drive. I'm happy to even have a car that I can basically call my own unless my brother's home. It's not expensive or in great shape, but at least I can drive, and that's good enough.

You guys are all saying that there are all these rich kids driving BMW's and mercedes, and that when they turn a certain age or whatever theyre going to get smacked by reality. Truth of the matter is, there are generations upon generations of rich little bitches who will never know what its like to have to work and think on a daily basis to get a quarter of what they've had given to them.

my friends parents are rich as crap but when they die they are giving each of there kids 1000$ of there money and giving the rest to charity, so even though his parents are rich he wont get any of it

zeck, that was the most ignorant thing you could have posted. There are plenty of people who have the money, but are amazingly nice people. Yeah, there are the awful ones who spend their money and rub it in people's faces, but not all of them are like that. I am by no means rich, but I know some people who are, and they couldn't be any nicer.

Toyota Corolla's one of most durable and toughest all around car I've seen. My friend is pretty tough on it and is an aggressive driver. It already have approx 200k miles on it and still runs like new despite all dents on the body.

I'd buy it over ANY US automobiles like Ford, Dodge, Saturn, etc. Everyone knows they sucks ass.

90 legacy out of my pocket for 900 broke down and i sold it for 500. and i just recently got enough money for a 92 legacy for 2 grand. its sweet.

 
I will drive anything that makes it up the mountain...grocery cart has no ponies, but my Focus makes it most of the time. It looks all rally trim too so people think its AWD... if they only knew, my shit costs the same as their stupid 26 inch rims and tires.
