Hey guys, i took my Double Times out for the first time last week and did a little pre season shredding, I just now noticed this crack in the top layer parallel to the toepiece of by binding, does anyone no if its a big deal and Surface doesn't put out the most durable skis or am I going to fucked when the season rolls around.Sorry about the shitty quality picture:

i cant really make much sense of that picture but i think i understand/ can see what you are talking about. the sidewall is not actually the part that is breaking, the top sheet is pulling away or bubbling up right? if that is the case, im guessing your toe piece is starting to rip out and the top sheet is starting to delam at that spot because of the force of the screws being pulled out.

send the pictures into surface. my friend had 2012 no times which started to de-laminate, and they sent him brand new 2013 no times, he even got to keep his old skis.

That's the thing, I cant tell if its delaming or if its just because the constructions of the skis justs promotes chipping. To everyone else, thaks for the input, I'll send a better pic to them and see what happens

I'm pretty sure it's just a chip caused by the edge of the other ski. There new so your edges are pretty sharp and it's by the toe piece which is a usuall place to catch your ski. Try sending a better pic but I thinks is more rider caused then a manufacturing defect.

Already had you at 10/10 Tom, but yeah, im pretty sure they just collided the wrong way, but I cant tell if its just going to chip or the binding is tearing out

I'm pretty sure there is no issue with the binding. It does not look too bad just unlucky really. Try to trim off any edges so it's less likely to catch again and if it looks really deep just try to cover it with smithing like epoxy.
