Spleen

i fucked up my spleen skiing at stratton and now im out for 3 months...it sucks ass. ever happened to anyone else? does it hurt like for a long time?

i heard somewhere that if you break your spleen you have to take medication for a really long time because of the toxins in it... i could be wrong

A friend of mine injured his spleen last season he was out for 5 months. he was in pain for about 3 to 4 weeks
 
yep. this year. it was 3 months for me too, still got a month to go.there are no pain receptors in the spleen so no, didn't hurt too bad. just felt like i got really really winded.
 
friend of mine fucked his up last football season , he is still taken meds and physio and he cant play football again cuz of it
 
friend ruptured his spleen falling on a box and had to get airlifted and was out for like half the year
 
bahaha i ruptured my spleen at the beginning of the yeardidnt even know until i started blacking out and had to stay in the hospitalthey gave me hella percocet tho so it was kinda nicei didnt wait the whole 3 months either i just kinda started skiing around after the second month and i think im good now, did you have to get it taken out?
 
and idunno about you guys but for me it was ridiculously painful especially sleeping or moving on my side
 
iv fucked mine twice now, this year i was out for 3 months, it hurts for a while. I still cant hit jumps and lifting heavy shit sucks
 
I had an enlarged spleen with internal bleeding in October, it wasnt a full rupture though. It is now March, and my spleen still has slight sudden bursts of pain. Be very careful with spleen injuries, because if you end up getting it removed, you have to take medication and get shots the rest of your life to prevent illness.
 
I hurt mine once, but it wasn't bad enough that it had to be removed so it's alright now hasn't bothered me much since. definitely annoying though and staying in the hospital for a week was pretty lame.
 
Ya tore my spleen and kidney last spring. Sucks balls man. Thought I just broke my ribs. Didn't know til I started pissing blood! thats when you know its serious shit.
