ive herd rumer from ski shop workers that the saolmon SPK is a wood core ski and not foam does anyone now if this is true?

it's the old CR promodel.

theres a lil wood in them. but its still a primarly foam ski, thou its a higher grade than the 1080. yes, its the CR/candide with new graphics and rivits. that being said, its a good ski

There's no wood in them. Foam core ski according to the Salomon product catalog.

There is no such thing as a Salomon Foam core any more...i talked to a rep. about it

i got them from salo about 6 months ago

they are diff than the CRs in flex and shape but very similiar, definatly a great ski

ye they only come in thoose two sizes, i ride the 180s

its definitely not wood. i saw a snapped pair at whistler and it was all foamy stuff in them.
