SPK vs STL vs Thruster

So my Trouble Makers blew up in two months and I need new skis, these skis had pretty cheap prices here right now, If someone could compare them I would be happy.

Also which skis would you prefer for me, I like soft skis so I can jib alot, also pretty light so nothing too heavy. Still the most valuable thing is that would like skis that don't break up in few months of skiing.

the spk's are supposed to be bomb proof, and they make a really good park ski. I don't know how soft/stiff they are though, but they are a sick ski for sure.

SPKs are a skinny pipe ski and are fast and medium stiffness and very poppy, the STLs are wider soft flexing and medium poppy, I don't really know about the thruster, but its foam core so They'd probably last you another 2 months before they became noodles if you ride really hard 6 moths if your easy on skis

i've heard good stuff about the SPK but i gotta ask you about warranty. Two months? those should be covered

SPK and thruster are both foam core for this years ski. So both are going to last about as long. The SPK is a stiffer ski too. The thrusters are really light but they get so much better for next year with the wood/foam core and wider dimensions you will be pissed you bought them this year. I would definitely go for the STL if you need them this year. They are light and soft and I have heard lots of good things.

there deff on the stiff side...its mostly a battle between the thruster and STL i know there both pretty light and soft...I also know if u do lots of rails salomons dont last, dont know how good STL edges are doe

how would you compare the thrusters to the dumonts?

because i rode this years thrusters yesterday and i loved them. they were soft but could still handle carving down the steeps.

would the dumont be better?

alright thanks...

did they widen the dumont at all...i know they got new sizes and the thruster and dumont both come in 181 and the thrusters new dimensions are 117-83-110 and thats the same as the dumonts..

but anyways i would go with the spks if you are going to get this years skis...next years i would get the thrusters.

Actually they say over here that even if you have touched a rail with your skis there won't be no warranty anymore.

And here are the prices i would get them

Thruster 249 €

SPK 239€

STL 289€

So what you think now? Now I've understood that if I want durable ski I would choose STL otherwise the Thruster would fit perfectly to me.

The problem is that our little ski resort here has like 1 box 3 small boxes and 30 rails. So I would deffinelty need durable skis for rails

no help to you in any way but i love this years thrusters top sheet (if its the one with the dog that says woof on it)

The STL is wood core, Sollys are foam. Wood will last longer, keep its pop longer too. I love mine, best park ski ive ridden. I owned chronics before those, and these are much better switch.

Ya the SPK and the CR LAB are the same ski. I dont think they are makin the CR LAB anymore. I havent seen any this year anyways, pretty sure they just replaced it. I always thought CR needed a fat pro model anyways....
