the little red spoilers on the back of my spks are bothering the shit out of me.

has anyone taken them out?

Im going to tomorrow, just want to know if it will loosen them up that much.

or even what its for.

the things he's talkin about are just attatched to the inside of the shell with velcro so it's not a big deal to take them out and see if it helps.

ya word, thats what i said. I think anyways.

I just want the spaace.

as a boot fitter myself... i know one thing. if you need a bootfitter, your boots dont fit, buy ones that fit.

i tried em on a rail in my valley, and theyre fine without it.

later homeslices.

im not asking for advice, just wanted to see if anyone has done it.

there are no consequenses to taking out something like that.

i just wanted extra room for my calf.

Ive been fitting boots for like 8 years, well im done that now, on to things that actually make you money. If you have to have someone come back to do work on their boots, you didnt fit them in the right boot. unless the person has some effed up shit on thier feet. Serioulsy... heat fit... break in, done. anything else and it aint the boot for you. and acctually i just ended up moving the whole 2 pieces up and feels great on my calf.

I dont even know why its in there, how can you get shin bang in sucha soft boot?

I never got it in my pro models so why would i get it now?

fuck, no one ever helps on ns.. fuck you all!

ya dood whatever..

you still havnt even come close to giving me an opinion on the subject matter.

you should take that post, and make your own thread with that in it.

that would be a great answer to my post if thats what it was about.

word son.

wholy piss, you tool.

I didnt ask if i should take them to a boot fitter.

I asked if anyone has done it.

I asked if it would make much room (which was retarded cause obviously)

and then i said i did it and hit rails, they worked fine and didnt pinch my calves.

But I digress... you tool, thank you for not helping.

I hop eyour mother aborts you.

shut up man. steven was trying to help and youre being a douchebag. you asked a stupid question and got a stupid answer. thats all there is to it.

aight seems to me that it's a little overboard to go through the hassle of goin to the shop to have such a simple adjustment done, but if you claim to be a bootfitter and have to ask ns about such a simple adjustment... I dunno what's goin on. I can say that I would never take advice fromm someone selling me boots if they didn't know why the spoiler on an spk would be padded.
