SPK power strap removal?

I just got my new Booster straps in the mail, and am trying to install them, but I can't get my old power strap off my SPK Kaos's. They weren't screwed or bolted in; they seem to just have been riveted into place. How do I get these fuckers off?

yep, but be careful not to slip the drill and put a hole in your boots, just go slow.

So I bore a hole in the rivets, and then unscrew them?

Yes, the rivet goes all the way through the back of the upper cuff. Just drill through the rivet with a drill bit that is smaller than the rivet and then go to town with some pliers. Pretty simple.
