Last year, this piece came out where it was attached between the liner and the shell:

Now I can't get it back in. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to get it back in? It won't just snap back in.

where it should be:

Hmm it looks like you already took out the liner which is good. Do you still have the screw that holds it in? It is a hex head screw. If so just hold the big piece up to the screw hole and screw it back in. If not you'll probably have to go find a screw of some sort to hold it in.

Unscrew the T-nut. Push T-nut through spoiler from the inside. Screw the plate back onto the shell.

Do you have skinny calf muscles? Those were only really there to take up some space in the upper cuff and add a touch of forward lean. I took a lot of those spoilers out when I was selling boots. Most people don't need them.

No haha I have actually pretty large calves, I do a lot of biking. What's a t-nut? I assume it's the metal thing right above the rectangles in the plastic. I'm going ot go take another look at this.

And both of you, thanks for the replies! I really appreciate it

Did you try your boot on without it? A lot of people with big calf muscles find they're more comfortable without them. Especially when walking/hiking.

if you can screw it back in, if not u might be able to find something similar to fit in behind there it just adds a little support from what i can see

did it maybe rip through the plastic as mine came pretty close to doing that (somehow)? it seems odd that it just came out. i was having really bad shin bang from landing back seat alot. i raised this piece up and it gave me a little more support in holding me up, moved my top buckle to go tighter and its pretty much solved all my shin problems.
