SPK Kaos size question

I am thinking about buying my friends 27.5 spk's . I wear a 9 1/2 size shoe and am still growing. Will these boots be too big when they pack out...Ive tried them on and they feel pretty good...

1st of all you shouldn't get that boot I have them their a complete joke. 2nd 27.5 is WAY too big if you do get them, and don't let anyone tell you differently. I wear a size 10 1/2 and I have 26.5. Yes they're tight at 1st but they pack out. A LOT. and now they fit pretty well.

THis guy is bullshit please do not listen to him. Ive had the SPK boots for the last two years and theyve been the most reliable and comfortable and nice boot i have ever had. Next, If you are buying your friend's, won't they already be packed out? and next, i have 9.5 shoe size in Nikes and 27's were the perfect size for me. 27.5 might be perfect fo you though. I love these boots! just so expensive.

this guy speaks the truth. i ride on 27/27.5 (317bsl) kaos's and i wear 9.5 nikes. they fit perfectly. as for peter saying they suck, i dont know what he is smoking because spks are the best, most comfortable boots that I, and many other park skiers, have ever ridden

I have SPK's and they are glorified rental boots they're made of cheap materials which is why they pack out so much. The people who actually like SPK's are people who've never ridden another true performance boot. SPK's are a joke. What boot/boots have you ridden before you got SPK's. Also, if they feel like sneakers when you put them on it means the boot is too big and will not perform the way a ski boot is supposed to. If you have a wide foot maybe the SPK's will work for you but don't buy them because they look cool and have 2 buckles. It doesn't make them any more flexible it just makes it more convenient to adjust how tight your boots are. And honestly I could care if you buy those boots. I wouldn't do it but its not my money being spent. So go ahead spend your money on a product that has ben cheaply made. I don't give a shit. I'm just trying to help.

if you wear nikes i don't really think spk's are the boot for you, i can't wear nikes cuz they're to narrow since i have a wide forefoot - which is why i rock spks. I have a 9.5 almost 10 foot, my foot measure between 27.5 and 28 and I use 27 spk's. The liner packs out soooo much its ridiculous - like posted above. (i have the kaos so can't vouch for the pro liner) I ended up putiting a dr scholls insert underneath the liner just to fill some vertical space. The two buckle design is shit. yeah sure it cuts down weight, but how much? like 2-3 oz on each boot, not a big deal. plus the boot has the worst heel hold you can imagine, which is a result from the two buckle design, the front buckle is like half way down your foot so its just not in the right spot to hold the back of your foot and heel down. and the top buckle is too high to hold your heel back. with this said its obvious the boot has some big down falls mainly just the two buckle design and a liner that packs out way too much, but it does have its attributes, it is super super light, the shell is hollow in some places and its not very thick (could have some bad side effects, but whatever) the power strap is huge, and its easy put on if they're room temp. If they made a four buckle spk with a better liner i guess i might try it.
