so, im looking into boots for next year, and im definitely gonna get Salomon.

are the SPKs any good? they seem like theyre too soft to enjoy on anything besides groomers, and would give out in the mung. plus, the two buckle system looks unreliable. ive heard theyre comfortable but are really wide, and i think i have a narrow foot.

any beta would be appreciated...

They are really, really comfortable and fit pretty wide. I have fat feet but I still had to get them widened even more, so they arent that wide. They are pretty soft, but I didnt have much of a problem skiing powder, etc. They are definately much better for park than anything else though.

go to a boot fitter and try them on... dont go to SPKs just because theyre "spks". try on other brands too. and ALWAYS trust the bootfitter if he knows what hes talking about

Dude spk's are fuckin the shit. i bought them with my eyes closed and they were perfect (even though i previously owned a piar of salomon boots). they were so comfy i was jizzing in my pants. i walked around the whole fuckin day with them on. real ignant. i still recommend a boot fitter though. i just so happedned to get lucky.

ya im not gonna buy em just cause of the hype. ive been skiing a long time, i know better. i just want to know if theyre any good in pow/mung and how soft the flex is.

i dont want a boot with WAAAYY too much flex yamean.

i thought they were too soft in choppy snow/ inconsistant snow. and they wear out super super fast. read my review

If you think you've got a narrow foot, try out some Full-Tilts... If my foot wasn't so damn wide I would have definately gone a pair.
But as said above, have a chat with your boot fitter.

ya i weigh like 175-180.

i think im gonna go with the foils. ive had those the 2 previous seasons and they hold up great in any conditions and the flex is perfect for me.
