SPIRIT OPENING SATURDAY NOV 22!!!!!!

Spirit is opening early! I just went to Shredfest today with my snowboarding buddies and it's official: Spirit opens THIS SATURDAY! Their website doesn't really come out and say it, though. You have to go to the snow report to find out about the early opening.
 
looks like i will be stopping by day before turkey day, if its really going to open, and if they are open on weekdays, if...., if......., if......
 
ok well i just got off the phone with the park guy and they said they were not going to have any rails up this week

yeah dude picked up my pass this week, just got my tonsils out tho so i cant ride til next weekend... still super stoked... wait.. are they having that snocross next weekend... is the mountain gonna be open to ski????!?!?!?!
 
ok we went there today it was a typical opening day at spirit

when i was there on sunday they didnt have any snow on any of the other runs and i dont think spirit will set up anything that isnt on the terrain park run. which is still pretty far away.
 
What ever happened to setting up a few early season rails and boxes at the top? C'mon Spirit, I can't hit side jumps all weekend. But there is some hope for an earlier park setup than in the past. I talked to the terrain park guy (blanking on the name) and he said that there was going to be a beginner's park above the chalet where the ropetow used to be, but I don't know when they plan on setting it up.
