Spirit Mountain Halfpipe

or just 3 bigger jumps. thats what spirit need bigger jumps. sure there kinda sorta not big at all just make the line 10 feet bigger they could even maybe go 15 i think

They could put two big Breck size jumps right where the pipe is. There would actually be speed for them, instead of going across flat to get to the current jump line.

werd erik thats what i was thinkin put i good jump there like a 60 or 70 footer we could just start from the top and bomb in we would have enough speed fer sure

its not worth it thou the pipe doesnt have enough vert the dragon is waaaay to short we would need a new dragon or just get rid of the pipe

no point if

1 noone rides pipe.

2 they cut the pipe like shit

3 it cost like 10 grand a year to make and maintain and really noone rides it

if they got rid of it they could make 2 large jumps and maintain even better which would make a lot of people more happy

1. it will never be good beacuse its 100 percent man made snow, it dosent get enough sunlight on it. and even during the last days spirit is open only half of it gets soft enough to ride. Plus even if they did have a good pipe, i doubt it would get as much use as a longer jump line.

i think your name is darrel and i like you cause you dont like there pipe either, bottom line is they should just get rid of it

im really goin to try to b park crew next year just so i could come out after school rake and fix some jumps on to rails and maybe do somethin to the jumps and ski and get paid for it! cause they dpont do anything to the park during the week

If spirit is going to get rid of a feature the pipe is not the one. The showtime set up is basically worthless in my mind. The few days in the year that it can hit is not worth the many days it sits.

My idea for spirits park is to have the two jump line/ more of a slopestyle course where the pipe is now and move the pipe to the bottom right of the hill. The inrun for the pipe would be less, but to me, loking at the slope in without snow it appears to be wide and steep enough, or atleast equal to whereit is now. It has a natural wall on one side saving some money in snow needed. And by getting rid of showtime the ammount of snow needed for the two top jumps could be equal to what they are using right now.

Think about if the pipe were at the bottom, everyone would hit it. Right now it is a choice, jump or pipe, the whole park or showtime. Let's get two jump lines, close one down if needed for comps, have one continually open for the public. And all ride pipe once we hit the bottom. Oh and the rest of the showtime space can become the rail garden. We do need more rails.

I do not, but I have spoke with some people about getting these meetings together. If anyone hears about a scheduled meeting let me know. I'm out of town for the next week and a half so if these have yet to be planned let's get it going after the 25th of aug.
