Driving over the bridge from superior today and look over to see that god came all over spirit last night. It actually looked like most of it was covered or had a dusting.
Just thought I would post this here because this means they might open earlier than expected.
Spirit usually blows snow for the snow-cross course before making any snow on the ski runs but this year they are starting with the ski runs so snow-cross won't screw over skiers like it usually does. Plus, the pre-season park is gonna be better than ever before. Hype hype hype.
Confirmed! They will be open Saturday and Sunday of this week. There won't be much of a park however due to the lack of snow, simply opening is really a stretch for the amount they have, but there will be at least a few rails up!
There will 5 rails set up. It's not going to be anything crazy but it will be a good set up to start out the season with. Whoever runs there Facebook shouldn't of posted that haha.
