has anyone ever hit a spiral staircase rail?

I remember Freeze including a spiral rail in an article about the toughest resort rails, don't remember where it was though. keystone maybe?
 
I remember a movie (forget which one though) and they hit up huge urban playground slide and they grinded the ouside of the slide like a rail which went underneath itself. But thats the closest ive seen.
 
get yourself a copy of happy dayz, or for that matter almost any movie from around 2002. I don't remember where it was located, but there was a bright green one that was in a ton of movies that year. I know for sure that pep fujas hit it in happy dayz

yea i was just gonna post again to claim the quadruple...but opted out of that.

but anyways ahem, yes, like i said. Happy dayz has one and it looks amazing, but very hard to hit right
 
i have seen a snowboarder boardslide a circle rail all the way around, which is pretty much the same thing, except not down (or else it would be a spiral obviously).
 
I could totally do that on my blades. my tips wouldnt even hit the wall. that would be so sick man i would be such a hotdawger for sure!!!!
 
yea, its definitely interesting to see the rest of the movie too. Stuff thats now outdated or considered an easy thing was like the shit in that movie. I bet a lot of people on here wouldn't even recognize most of the names of the skiers now. Tanner was like 18 when the filmed it too, its hilarious to see them all that much younger.
 
ya man rails are so much sicker on blades. Just make sure you detune the whole edge on your park pair. I tried grinding on my carving blades, didnt work so well with a 3degree edge bevel.
 
Yea dude thanks... Its like when you try to shred up the radical park when your on your power blades... on those fat blades im set so far back that its hard to land switch!

Dude i just google mapped this, it appears the spiral rail will be just about as hard to find as that place we went last weekend. Oh well, we can roll up in town and ask probably

Ya dude last weekend was off the hook man! that down flat down flat was super sketchy... good thing we made it a two day sesh so we got a few good shots!
 
hell yeah, we got super lucky man. And I almost forgot to bring both my pairs of blades. can u imagine if i had only brought my rock boards? i would have sucked.

Yhis is gonna be so much better than last weekend though. its gonna be groundbreaking. Call up the meatheads, maybe they want to film us. i think they are based in ny or something. maybe we can get in guinus world records for 1st to succed on blades!
 
Hells yea!! except this time i have to remember my Eagles Cd... that drive up was super boring last time when all we had was your Run - DMC CDs

I may be from texas, but I sure as heck know where troy is. Ive got a place up near gore mt this year where me and some budds keep it rad. i will gladly take this further with you. Meet us there around noon (if we can find it) and we will have a ski vs blade showdown
 
you better make sure you are on the ball. we cant loose to a bunch of jealous skiiers. I bet we will have to leave ur place by 10 to make it there. about 1:45h from my place... i got some new cds to man u gotta check em out

 
ok dude i will plan on ending up at your place the night before. that way we can grab a meal and watch some sweet blading movies that we have made from over the years.. then we can throw down and kick some skier ass!
 
we gotta watch high society- thats the best saucer boy segs. tribute to shane night we can get rad and get glad, then wake up and slay down. hella good idea. dude im all out of food u gotta bring some kraft or something good
 
sure thing man we can make spaghetti and then maybe even some of that Texas toast stuff too go with it..mmmmm I cant wait! my tummy rumbles while I sit here and think about it
