I think it will make you spin faster, but don't quote me on that. Personally I think it looks better too

i know when people to 1080's they keep it crouched to spin faster and make them look less hucked. Definently more stylie, but with 720's and 360's it might not make much more of a difference. it might help your balance more, but other than that, nothing much different.

Oh shit, there it goes....

All these skier kids want to see nowadays is big air. You want to see some big air? Pull my finger...

Yeah it would look better but it wont help you spin more, if you want to spin like crazy get in the figure skater position. You will spin faster but it ownt look good.

like at whistler, at camp, i was trying to learn corks, and my coach thought i should be able to do tucked spins before i try to cork. well, for some reason i couldn't do it. it isn't so easy just to 'tuck your legs up!' no matter how easy it looks. i tried to cork anyways and almost did it. landed on my stomach a few times-i must have been off axis

man if you can't spin with your legs tucked I feel sorry for you.. Its not that hard.. just stick a mute in your spin and your crouching..

Yeah man I try and pop really hard as well and so far I've found that that's what makes the difference as to whether I go off axis or not. I also find that when I'm tucked up it's easier to make sure my body spins with my head and not way behind which also helps stay on axis. Furthermore if you can spin tucked up then you can spin crossed up and that looks sweet. Hope that helps in some way.

aright man, heres what I do, carve a bit of the lip of the jump (reduced hucked look from arms and gives you a little of axis spin) drop the shoulder of the way you spin, I spin counter-clockwise so I drop my left shoulder and I tuck up, this allows a nice looking spin... then your not all hucked and your free to grab/tuck, tucked looks 10x better then pencil style.

tucking your legs up shouldnt do anything except making it look like you got more air.
