Ive been having the problem for the past yearnow that whenever i try bigger spins like 7s i always spin to early and it sends me off bad. I get like a 270 and then eat shit. Has anybody else had this problem. If so how did you fix it?

I know but every time I hit the jump all I think about is the spin and always end up spinning early. Mayb it would help if i just went off a huge jump and tried spinning really slowly.

hit the biggest jump and just do a really big, really slow 180. its good for your air awareness, and spin contro;.

Ill try that I think problems with air awareness might cause it because its really hard to get the grab in spins also

i did this last year when i spun 7's and ended up wrecking my self pretty bad cus i would get corked out on accident and wasnt able to get outta it just make sure you pop

haha. same problem. i end up buttering like 270 before i get into the air cuz all thats in my mind is huck it hard.

yeah i've caught my edge on the lip of a jump before by buttering off the table. it hurt like a bitch. but its worth it cause the look sick

ive had that problem 4 yrs ago you got to

load your legs

load your arms for the spin

POP (dont carve)

unload your arms right after your pop

and make sure to keep your neck turned

spot the landing where you want to stop spinning

I was trying to spin on my Prophet 130's today, and I couldn't pop for shit, cause they are so huge and damp and I'm not a heavy dude, so I backseated a 3 and got such badass shinbang, it sucked hard. But I find that alot of times when I'm trying to be smooth and just get a nice, easy 3, I just look over my shoulder off the lip and completely forget to pop, and I ALWAYS (or almost always) land in the backseat, and it sucks ass. So from now on I'm just going to have to think about popping hard off the lip to stay level...or something?

Just as k2skier420* described it. Tuck in before the jump. Shoulders twisted. POP. Most important of all. Set of the rotation with your shoulders, not by turning your skis. I would sujest just doing the spin firts without really thinking of style or anyhing like a grab.
