when i start my switch spin the first 180 i am usually in the back seat. Is this because im doing it wrong, or because my skis aren't center-mounted.

just play around with it and lean forward a little bit more off the lip good luck with them once you get them they can be a really fun trick to do

yea it took me awhile, but know my balance is good and it feels like i spin alot smoother than i used to, but i feel i could cork myself out, without landing tho

so ive also got a Q on switch take offs... do you pop of the noses of your ski, or do you kinda carve/skid your way off the jump. ive also seen people (when spinning left) kinda pop with their left foot first i.e. pep doin his crazy cab cork 7s

if your landing backseat your prolly leanin' to far foward on the take and not poppin' or looking under your leading arm. WHOA ADVICE TWICE IN ONE NIGHT!
