Spinning Switch; Unnatural or natural

Ok when i spin forwards, i spin to the left (counter-clockwise), so im setting the spin with my right arm. When i spin switch, i spin to the right (clockwise), but still setting the spin with my right arm. so is that an unnatural spin? or do poeple have different natty and unatty spins when spinning switch vs forwards?

Its the same. If u spin naturaly left forward, you natural switch is spining left. You set with ur arm? Thats kinda weird.

no. Setting with your arm makes it alot easier. If you can spin at all, you'll be setting your arm in some way, whether you do it conciously or not.

one of my friends nayural way of spining is left, but the only wayy he can spin swicth is to the right, which is wierd, but i guess that more than one person has this problem

Well the fact that you set with your hips and head, and where your arms are have nothing to do with how you set your spin is, you are completly right.

If you're gonna be a dick to everybody, I'll have to tell you this: your entire body spins when you go off a jump. Correct me on that!

well when i ski switch i look over both to turn. but using my arms to set my spin i think is more mental than physical. all the physical part is done with head and hips, as pussyfooter said, and a bit of arms. but id say arms is mosty to get me to commit to the spin and stuff

the way you naturally spin better is your natural way, it could be diffrent for diffrent people, or diffrent tricks, like some people say "i can do flatspins bettter unattural" well then that would be your natural..... just an example.....

i do the same thing, i look over my right shoulder when riding switch so it's easier to commit to a right spin although it's my unnatural direction. i can't look over my left shoulder at all, i lose my balance. so when i do natural switch spins i have to switch my head from right to left as i'm approaching the lip to set a rotation. that's why i have a hard time with natural switch 180's and 360's but easier for me do do slower switch spins unnaty.

yeah im the same as you, but i figure i should try to spin left when i hit a jump switch, cuz i think it would feel more natural
