Spinning RIGHT onto the rail?

i can do 270's on fine spinnin to the left, but i want to try 2 on spinnin to the right...

is spinnin to the right harder than the left?? any tips would be nice!

thankss

its called natural and unnatural if im not mistaken.
so, if youre a lefty at spinning, right would be UNNATURAL for you. So it might be a bit awkward for you.but then agian, if you spin right/unnatural into the rail you would land natural.
get the picture?

start on the butter box!!:] but ya, when i was learning unnaty, i would start w/ 90s on, to 180s on......

just go in a flowing progression.

also, try switch 270s, they helped me to get over not seeing the jib for a second....

good luckz!

thats not the case for everybody

for example, my natural spinning side is left, and my natural sliding side is left foot first. But only a minority are like me, so i guess im just weird

yeah i was goin to try them on little boxs first to get the feel.

and im right handed and my natural stance is right foot first, but i spin left..??

am i weried??

for sure do this if you feel uncomfortable about spinning unnatty onto boxes/rails. This is how I learnt 270's on, get err dialed on a butter box, step your game up and toss it on a real box.

same, i spin right when i 270 onto rails. i'm sure its just like what you're used to (left) but the opposite. or at least that's how i'd imagine it'd be if i spun left onto a rail

I had to learn to switchup or 270 off of a rail by going in switch... Anyone else the same way? Might help for 270's on as well.

just start practicing on small boxes and shit...it will feel weird at first but after awhile you will get the hang of it...just like when you started spinning left

Not for me cause I turn left side and on rails its my left foot thats in front. So its easy for me to do 270 on but its hard to do sw 270 on's.

Yeah, spinning right on to rails is tough... I tried it once on to a right-curving C Box because I felt it would be easier to slide it facing away from the ground and instantly annihilated myself. It should, in theory, be easier to maintain balance once you land though because you slide right foot first. It just requires you to execute and commit to a 270 right-side spin. I think the idea of progressing from 90, to 180, to 270 is a good one. I can slide unnatty no problem doing a regular (left-side) 270 on, but sliding unnatty by doing a right-side 90 on fucks my shit up way more because of the right-side spin, so building up to it sounds promising.

yeah i spin left on everything. in the air on a rail and on butter boxes. i wanna spin right onto the rail so i can spin left off of the rail. lol just gotta get corodinatede going both ways... no homo

just picture it in your head. go through all your motions you would naturally then try to mirror that. put a line of tape down and stand behind it and practice jumping and spinning and then landing on the line as you would a rail. then start taking it to snow and trying it on box's and rails. thats how i learned them this summer.

i was doin them on skates.

i would just stand by the rail and spin 2 on, to just get the feel for it, and i got it like 4 times.

i kinda got the feel for it, now just have to get it on skis

it all comes down to what your comfortable with. most people like spinning left and grinding right
