Spinning and center mount.

Hey guys quick question never rode a center mount ski. Does a center mount ski make spinning that much easier then say a ski mounted like 2-3cm back from center. I was thinking abut center mounting my next skis center, but I dont wanna screw up my all mountain riding. What should I do.

center mount helps for riding backwards. im sure equal weight distribution helps you spin faster. id say center mount you definitely can still spin. i wouldnt be worried about it. however, center mount does sorta fuck up ur turns but not much

center mount will deff make it more difficult to ski in powder. but as far as groomers go u wont have a problem at all.

yeah I'm getting anthems and I'm a bit concerned about how they will handle in powder. I don't want to ski powder with my stiffish enforcers all the time and anthems are wide enough to handle it for my height and weight but they might just tip dive like a sinking ship and fuck up landings and/or turns.

i skied snow basin gettin face shots all day with my anthems and they worked fine. compared to other park skis, there suprisingly floaty in pow pow. however, its not gonna b a liberty bff here but itll do fine.

if you like your almountain skiing more then park. then just keep it like 2, 3 back but if u wanna get into park alot then ya center.

center mount skis in the bumps are a bitch. ok in powder but you will notice a difference, maybe a big one depending on your style but in the park its awesome!

center is good on symmetrical skis but on a ski that isnt symmetrical i like to go about 2cm back because it works better with the sidecut. and if you think of it, 2cm isnt very much of a difference, its about the with of ur thumb

don't center mount.

2cm's back is choice,

doesnt really make a difference in spining.

but if you center mount you have more tail to land on

i would say dont center mount because think of what ur giving up actual skiing unless ur buy a simetrical ski than center mount but mount close to center but back a little thats what i did and its fine i can ski switch fine land backwards spid and i can still ski forwards good unless u live at some shit ass hill and only ski park or it most of the day

you can still ski the mountain center mounted. itd be sick if i had another pair of skis but i do mostly park. it all depends on what you do most

it sorta depends on what ski your planning on riding?

if its symetrical then you should always always center mount it... i mean its pointless to have a symetrical ski thats not center mount

I ordered some boones 175cm, 82 waist, pro like 60 all mountain and just messing around , and the rest park. So im thinkin either center are like 2cm's back.

What you guys think.

Center mount them for sure. You can spin more easily and land and ski switch more easily. It does make it harder to ski all mountain, but you get used to it pretty quickly. Also, if you have a truning ski already it shouldn't be a problem center mounting them.
