so today i was a tline learning some switch spins, after i stomped some threes and stuff i went to throw a regular 3. it felt so awkward. i guess for me spining and hittin stuff switch is easier/ more comfortable. what do you guys think??

i spot 100x better spinning switch. my switch 5's come around way easier than reg 5s and i feel like ill be happy with my sw 7s way before im happy with reg 7s

I get that really bad when I blade. I throw smooth switch 3's and 5's and then my regular 3's and 5's are a lot harder.

Your body was probably just in the groove of going switch, so when it was time to go regular, it felt weird. Try spinning reg in a couple days and it won't feel weird.

My friend always says that spinning switch is alot easier, he learned to switch 5 before regular 5.

I guess it is since your head is alread looking back?

i think it takes some getting used to at first, but once you get it i find that switch 5's and 7's are much easier to spot then regular 5's and 7's

i disagree that a switch 5 is easier to spot than regular 5. reg 5 the landing is there for the last 270 of the rotation, depending on how hard you look, but switch 5 is like a 3, you only see the landing in the last 90 or so...

since your head and body straight off the takeoff already want to do a 1 its easier to whip stuff around.

deffinetly not for me. i just cant get a rotation going fast enough switch. it seems to lag, and not come around quick enough so i can only get sw 5s but inconsistantly

i made a thread about this a while ago and was surprised to find that i wasent the only 1. Im still more comfotable with regular 3s though.

its find its easier because you are already looking over you shoulder as you spin so you can spot the landing better
