Sping Break at Keystone

So I'm coming to Keystone for my spring break and I'm super pumped. How are the conditions at Keystone right now? How do you think they will be in like 15 days or so? This will be the earliest spring break in which I have skied out West, usually I ski out there really late and in January when I visit up sister up in Boulder.

Soo questions basically are:

how are the conditions now?

how will they prolly be in the next 2 weeks?

how is keystone this year? (both park wise and regular skiing wise)

I'm coming from the Midwest, Wisconsin to be specific so thats what kind of terrian I currently ride.

* I am also no n00b to Colorado skiing so yea I'm not tourist-eske.

Conditions are awesome, Keystone rocks. The park is sick as hell, sooo many features. The jumps are excellent too and the short lift makes for tons of laps.

I'm sure the conditions will be about the same in a couple weeks, hopefully even better! The weather has been crazy though...goin from 45 to 10 over night, so who knows what it will be like in the next week or two.

This is my first year here but I've heard that this year Keystone has stepped it up.

Jea, see ya around in a couple weeks! Get pumped.

You're joking, right?

Keystone is definitely sick! Their rail setup isn't the best but they do make up for it on the big jump line.

My boyfriend has counted one day - 40 laps. I'm sure he can do a bunch more.

Maybe I'll see you up there.

yeah look for a snowboarder with rasta jacket, a skier with a bright yellow jacket and baby blue pants, then another skier with yellow pants blue jacket

ok so around 12-14 days from now theres a big storm thats supposed to hit, but thats a 2 week forecast, so it could be bullshit... i like to be optimistic though... and this week its supposed to snow today, tomorrow and thursday, but then be real warm this weekend.

this year has been amazing so far for snow, so you should enjoy yourself

w00t! like 14 days!

thanks for all the info.i hope it snows alot. ive never skied a real pow day in my life. last year i got like 4 inches at copper but thats not really a lot of pow.

They are usually wrong predicting the weather 3 days in advance. I highly doubt they are going to predict a storm (that hasn't even formed yet) correctly a fort night prior.

bad weekend for key man, collegiate nationals, i think park might be semi closed, though you could compete if you're going to school...

keystones park is REALLY good there jumps are nice and the big line is really good and fun.

the condiditons have been pretty nice lately....(really warm some days and snowing on others0 it will probably be warm and sunny when you come so that will be nice...t-shirt skiing

They will probable keep the jumps, if there are speed issues they can always just speed up the snow....(use salt in between jumps if it is warm...constant people racking if cold) hopefully they will put in more rails below that though...even though i suck at rails.

wooooo! I called that shit...

well actually accuweather called it. you could say that accuweather was accurate

does anyone have a clue about the collegiate nationals thing?

is it only going to be those two days or will it be closed a couple days before and such?

and dont forget about the death jump onto the bbq... i almost nutted myself/somehow 1 foot 5050d that on accident due to the amazing lip onto it.

first off its on the little line, so big jumps should still be open. i think it's only friday and saturday, sunday is just incase it rains or something where the jumps cant be hit.
