anyone have a good tip for keeping the tails from catching on the lip of the table when spinning? I want to try a 3 and maybe 5 over our table but I don't want to catch the lip and flip onto my head.

dont start your spin before the lip. pop and then wait to spin. i do the same thing you do sometimes.

bigger jump = easier..i'm teaching my little sis to spin now..its all about getting up in the air then spinning

depending on which way you spin, left or right. keep your weight on your toes and bend your knees goin into the jump. the key is to be relaxed. i spin to me left, so i put my left hand directly infront of my body and my right hand behind me. you only have to do this to learn goin off small jumps. anyways wait till your tips just left the end of the jump and pop off your toes. throw your arms and look over your shoulder. make sure not to get distracted by the lip when looking around and do not look down. when the land starts to come around come out of your tuck and touch down. it takes a few jumps to learn, but after tyhere easy. all you hafta to for bigger jumps is judge your speed and just throw the spin slower. real simple.
