Some countries prefer dubs, some subs, most use a mix of both.
The 90s Spiderman cartoon had some of the most anemic voice acting in recorded history and was not very popular for a reason. Just listen to the screams of horror as Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spudermon falls to his doom.
