Spend money on weed, or save?

Money doesn't come easily by me. I don't have a job and am struggling to get one. I'm in high school so it doesn't matter much, but i've been fairly depressed recently and want a good time. I'm chilling with my friend over spring break and he can hook me up with free sammy adams and i have to pay my way for weed. We're matching, but I'm not sure if I should blow it all on ganja or save some for pocket money or saving for a car or something. but then again, I want to blow off steam.

I know it's stupid and you prolly don't care, but +k for responses that sound like people who typed them have brains :)
 
This is the dumbest thread I have read in quite some time. Fuck off with this bullshit, grow some balls, and make your own fucking decision. Cool, you smoke weed! You're right, we don't care.
 
This. OP you're fucking pathetic, man up. Find other ways to make you happy, get outside, go skiing, and save up for a car.
 
this is kind of a stupid thread because you should just decide for yourself but if your worrying about money then you may not have to stop smoking but rather cut back; smoke less; spend less.
 
Easy, buy a pounds of weed, sell 3/4, keep the 1/4, so you got like a free 1/4 and some extra money. ....
 
Re-read the first line of your original post. Understand? Let me clarify - don't waste your money on stupid shit. Buy a little bit, but save a good portion of it. Trust me, it'll pay off in the long run..
 
if you start spending money on weed now you'll be spending money on weed for the next few years at least. decide whether or not it's something you want to pour 1/4 of your income into, if not more

i have a friend who spends 100% of his money on weed. it has caused him to steal food, money, and possessions from other people. he's in college on a meal plan and his parents pay for everything and give him a weekly allowance and he spends every cent on weed and smokes 1/8th a day. he fucking sucks and everyone hates him, so don't waste all your money on weed or you'll become like him. and get aids. and then die after growing a penis out of your forehead
 
I had a friend who snorted pot once, he ran away and lived in a cave for the last five years and came back with gills and webbed feet. Marijuana, not even once.
 
or just have your roommate deal and smoke all you want for free. it's all about friends guys.
 
Buy acid instead, much cheaper in the long run. Or you can start saving for those big life moments, like getting a sustainable job, or a car.
 
I know this kid who took 3 weeds at a party and he overdosed. ask yourself do you want this?

and then wait until things turn for the worse and he's out of money and on his ass and asks you to pay him back for all the weed you've taken from him the past few years

this kid did that to me and my friends. he always threw around weed and said it was his treat and as soon as he ran out of money he acted like we were stealing from him
 
Thats your friends personality, not the weed "addiction" he may have an addictive(and slightly violent) personality but i dont think that its the weed thats making him act like that i think its just how he is. He probably is used to blaming other people for his own issues some people are just like that.
 
of course. i love weed i have nothing against it i'm just inferring that the kind of kid who needs to ask the internet whether or not to "waste" his money on weed has a high probability of ending up like the kid i know
 
why the fuck would you ask on NS? How much are you really going to spend on weed for one spring break? If you are chilling with say 4 people most of the time, then you should be able to get through a spring break on like a 1/4 easy split between. That's not very much money, gas and food is gonna cost more.

what are you actually doing? camping? skiing?
 
what the fuck is this? a car and weed arent even financially comparable, $35 for an eighth vs $1500+ for your first car. this is fucking retarded and OP so are you.
 
I smoke heavily over my school breaks like twice a year. I buy bulk, when I actually do smoke, and chill with my old bestfriend who moved away. It's just a way to reminisce with the only true bro i've ever had. I've already made the decision since, about 5 minutes after posting actually, but apparently it's a lot of fun to blow shit out of proportion and accuse someone you don't know over the internet of substance abuse.

To the people that gave intelligible responses, I thank you.

P.S. I will be buying my share of the weed, and I'm not going to 'become a crackhead' like some of you have destined me to become. And still save for a car while doing it.
 
Dude this thread is ridiculous. You asked a skiing site known for trolling kids who ask things like this a question about whether you should buy a weed or save for a car? it just sounds really dumb, ya know?
