First flight ever, after one day of ground instruction the week before.

Definitely a sport to seek qualified instruction and take very slowly, unfortunately not many instructors around these parts! I can't wait until the North Americans catch up with the Euros and we have harmony at the resorts.

Apparently it's illegal in Canada's national parks...because you know... it's such a high impact on the environment... what a joke!

what do you mean one day of ground instruction? i thought you needed certain minimum canopy control certifications or be an accomplished skydiver/hang glider?

i can imagine the commercials

"is skiing not dangerous enough for you?? well we have just the thing!"

seriously though, that looks awesome. im super jealous

Maybe in Switzerland or something. Right now it's very cowboy esque. I've never been under a canopy or flown anything but a speedwing before. Paragliding experience is recommended and so is professional training! I went to go get training but it was to windy the last few days so I never got a flight! Just winging it for now. Taking er slow.
