Speeding ticket NOOOO

so i owe $350 for a speeding violation ($200) and a failing to stop at a stop sign ($150). i can pay the ticket no problem, but my parents are going to stop paying for my car if it shows up on insurance.

right now i have to pay for college, books and living expenses. can anyone help me out?
 
haha that sucks. i was supposed to get that exact violation. however, i got out of it :)

alright im not exactly sure if it works, but my friend does it all the time...so you show up on your court date, and right when court goes into session, they go over the scedule and see if everyone is present...when they get to your name, dont say anything. when the get to your case or whatever, the judge will be like "so and so didnt show up, so on to the next case, but before the judge finishes, be like :wait ive been here the whole time"....by that time the cop that would have testified against you will have left, and the judge will usually dismiss the charges...
 
that's insane and i dunno if i'd risk that.

ugh i have to go to court next week sooooo annoying. all for a stupid ticket.

but yeah it wont show up on your insurance unless there were points involved.
 
contest it. It wont cost you anymore money unless it doesn't get dismissed and you want an appeal, which is only $20.

But, i have to say, you probably knew your parents would stop paying for your car if you got a ticket, so you shouldn't have been speeding. My parents dont pay for shit. not books, gas, insurance, tuition, phone etc etc. It wont be the end of the world if they stop paying for your car. get a job.
 
you have to pay court cost no matter what. id pay it and ask or traffic school and supervision. i got out of a 20+ mph speeding ticket and a illegal tire smoking ticket by asking for that.
 
dude u have to appeal that shit. i got one for doin 50 in a 30, 200 bucks, but the speedlimit wasnt posted and it was esitmated (i was actually doin 55) so mine was easy to get out of. But here's what you do. Wear some fancy shit. Walk in there with a letter of apology explain how ur sorry and all that shit. Make one for the judge and for the cop. (Cops usually don't show, at least not in MA) Then go ahead and make them feel sorry for you, say you pay for the car the gas the inmsurance, you work two jobs, your a male prostitute, shit like them. and VIOLA!
 
Half the time the cop wont show up and your all set. If the cop does show up then you can plead for probation before punishment. The ticket will get erased off your record. This only works if this is your first offense.
 
i was caught doing 182 on the highway...where it is 100...and he said he'd reduce the ticket to say i was going 115 haha. so i got outta points, outta 360$ and outta court appearance.

all i ended up having to pay was 70$ with no other penalties whatsoever.

being a girl has its advantages for sure.
 
you know what yall can do, just buy valentine one radar dectector, i just ordered that shit and it supposed to come in next week cause i dont want to get anymore speeding tickets, and i cant slow myself down.

thats bullshit about cops not showing up. they get paid extra to show up. its easy money for them.

ask for traffic school or look for a technicality

or check out one of those agencys that figtt for you. if they lose you still dont pay anything. usually they are ex cops who pay their buddies.
 
Can we help you out? Do you want us to give you money or something. Because its a very very good chance all these little tricks people think works WONT. Pay the ticket, stop being so spoiled and make your own damn car payments. Stop spending so much time on NS and get a JOB.
 
tha totally sucks. The only thing i could say is go to court about it... but from what it sounds like, you cant really win if you went to court about that haha. Beat son, real beat. I always try to keep it at like 9 or 10 over... at least at times when the cops are out. If i get a ticket my dad is taking away the car.
