so, this has always bugged me, and i never had an opportunity to figure it out. so if i'm goin balls out, no turns, tucked up, on a smooth groomed black diamond, about how fast am i going? just wondering if anyones ever figured it out, i'd be curious to see how fast you actually do go..

probably around 75 km/h depending on how much you weigh and other stuff.

measuring device and a stopwatch thats all you need....just use ski lengths...like 15 lengths of a 180cm ski is 27 meters. Get a stopwatch and time it. Presto - Velocity

Where i used to ski they had a "speed test" on a closed run and i allmost made it to 100km/h.The only reason we newer got the test further than 100km/h was because thet had put up some strings to limit the run so turists would not kill them selves. 100 is fast, but if you are a good skier and like speed, then you have made more than that before. I guess the fastest i have ewer gone is like 130, but im heavy and very found of speed.
