The joshbryant vs. novotny thing has given me an idea. We should have a debate forum. Get two people in the industry who have differing points to argue it out in a forum that only they can write in but that everyone can see.

You don't relaly need a whole forum for that though, when a debate is going on it could just be a sticky thread at the top of a forum.

 
it would be nice to get people who actually know what the subject to be the only ones able to post in the thread, and everyone else only has the ability to watch

yea that would be really cool, keep it on subject with no bullshit comments. You could have some really cool people come in for that too, I mean I'm sure alot of people would be interested in that.

 
there are thousands of people who are in the industry and know a lot about it, I bet you could get some really good discussions going fi you pick the people carefully. You could also do it with current events, even though that could get sketchy with who to pick to discuss.

If you did it with current events as well as things from the industry you could get some really interesting stuff going. You could also have select members who are knowledgeble on certain subjects be included in debates, of course that would have to be watched very closely. It would also be a way for those people whose only news source is Newschoolers to hear about things.

 
yeah. there could be a vip forum where industry insiders can post, and everyone can view.
