Special Blend Control Jacket Issue

Alright, so I'm looking in to buying this jacket, in the prep school color. I've looked around online, and I noticed that the jacket had more than just one style in that same color. I found three pictures of the differences, 2 are stock photos and one is of D_ling.

My only assumption so far is that the different "styles" are the different sizes. But I'm not completely sure. Anyone know for sure what the reasoning is behind all this?
 
Is it possible that each jacket is different, ie they have white blue and purple material and they piece it together randomly as they see fit.
 
ah thats weird at first i thought the sleeves were just turned different directions but then i saw the stripes dont match up in one and theres a special blend insignia on the other. my only guess is that the ordered the fabic in bulk and they just cut it in different spots for each jacket so sometimes the stripes math up sometimes they dont.
 
I dunno, this whole thing seems so random to me. I really like the one in the middle, so I dont wanna buy a jacket and get a different version. Anyone else have any thoughts? I might see what the gearheads at backcountry have to say.
 
Andy's helping me out now. So far he said the same thing as someone said above. "Andy: I think the fabric is just cut and used and the result is a different array of styes per say."

I still dont know what to think. I sent him a couple links of the different styles and im waiting for a response.

 
They're checking the warehouse for me tomorrow, and they'll email me what they know. My best bet is that they have a different look to each size or something. I think D_ling said he was 5'4 or something small so he might have a medium, I looked at garret.'s and he has a large which is the middle one, but i've yet to see an actual XL which I'm looking into.
 
the top two are def not the same... my guess would be its by size. its possible that each jacket is diff due to a random cut but i doubt that would be the case
 
they are they same model but the fabic is just placed differently. look at the pockets and details. trust me
 
As stated above, it seems dependent on the way the fabric is cut. That's too bad there's no guarentee... because I like the way it looks when the stripes don't match up.

Anybody know if this jacket has lycra wrist gaitors?
