Test tomorrow and I'm kinda sketch on the "ser" verbs

its like soy eres es somos sois son.

whats the difference between eres and sois? i know that sois is plural and eres isn't but if its plural wouldn't it just be son?

ill probably have more questions later

thanks +k

eres is the tu/you form, so if i was talking about you i would say eres estupido because you are stupid. sois is the vosotros form, which is mainly used in spain, which means more of a "you all" is kinda thing.

so, eres, is just talking to someone as if you were saying "you"

if you were talkin to your buddies in spain you would use sois.

hope that helped

you all would be in what kinda form? like in a sentence. because you all would be like they right? then that would be son.

"you all" is vosotros. if they didnt teachyou it you dont need to worry about it. usually you dont need it if youre only n spanish 2.

"they" is son. its different than the vosotros form.

they are tired

is different from you all are tired.

and eres is the tu form , which means "you"

you are tired.

haha yes i know what your saying but i need examples of what a sentence would look like if it was "you all" and "they".

thanks for the help

yo soy grande
i am big

tu eres grande
you are big

el es grande
he is big

nosotros somos grande
we are big

vosotros sois grande
you all are big

ellos son grande
they are big

lol sorry for lame word choice. this is my minor and i still suck at it. is this what you needed?

like if you were a teacehr talking to a class, "you all are going to learn to conjugate some fucking ser!" (vosotros form, sois)

but if you were taling about another class, "they learned fucking ser" (ellos form, son)
