Southeast Wisconsin Rail Jam!!!!!

Pre-Season Rail Jam!

Where: Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, WI

When: October 28, 2006 12 P.M. to 6 P.M.

The full setup is unknown as of right now but what is for sure is that there will be three to four rails and the run in and landing will be done using astroturf. As many may know this works almost as good as snow when you put water and soap on it. I will post more details when I know more. It will be awesome all should come.

so im coming, wiat fuck

thats the one weekend i get to go to boston this fall

everytime theirs an event im in massachusetts.

because bring ing in that much snow would be too much and it could end up meltin through the day especially if its raining, with astroturf raining would be good cuz then we don'tneed to hose it down much the astroturf is much more convenient and economical

astroturf never works when i use it, i may go, but that mean i have t o come home from schoool to get my sticks.

bitch to get in contact with.

if you need sponsorshiphelp i had almost planned a rail jam in boston, ma had 6 sponsors but the city refused my permit if you need conatacts email me at

bp-landrigan@dejectclothing.com

that is who is putting it on actually with the help of grand geneva i am an employeee of theirs theres probably going to be a barbecue as well

Sounds like the Sunburst gig last year, - the snow of course. might have to bust out the out dynastar candides for this little ditty. might go, if japanada drives.

Hey how would I get the from supierior wisconsin and how long does it take cuz if its not too bad I'll come down from Canada LOl

Sweet that sounds mint i'll try and keep an eye out for it. And if i have nothing better to on the day of that rail jam, I'd prob go down with some buds anyways, we always drive to winnipeg for the weekend and thats 8 hours away.

actually fuck that rail jam I just punched it into map quest and it says its 11 hours to lake geneva from me hahah.

Me and some buds of passes at spirit every year and we can get there in like 3 and half hours, I live in Thunder Bay which is like 30 mins from the border. BUt I've never kept track of how long to the twin cities.

i think i might be heading there, its like an hour and a half drive though, worth it for some astro turf?

in the great words of Eric K. debatable. it's a toss up for me anyways. it is only grand geneva but you really never know.

i assumed CC was Carrol College and by crew you meant you and stas.

have fun at the jam ladies, i'll be riding some urban, and maybe spenindg the night in a paddywagon

that was exactly what i thought. i was thinking, come on reed there is only two of us. have fun in that paddywagon foo.

Tyrol might be open on saturday or sunday... check their site they've been blowing snow and they did some last night. they got the bunny slope covered right now. if they open for hiking this weekend im doing that instead of the rail jam at geneva because tyrol is only 35 min away and grand geneva is 90 min away.

i called n i think they said i should check for updates on friday....

i hate the tyrol website, its always unorganized and rarely updated, anybody else agree?

****THIS IS DIRECTLY FROM TYROL'S WEBSITE****

Thursday, October 29, 2006: Tyrol will have terrain open on Sunday, 10-29, from 9am to 5pm. The cable tow run will be open for hiking only. All skiers and boarders are welcome to come out to have some winter fun. There is no cost to hike the slope. We will have some terrain features (slide rails-boxes) on the hill.

I'm hittin' up the rail jam at Grand Geneva, the Sunday im headin' to Tyrol. See ya guys there.

does anyone know the exact address of grand geneva. the websites address and mapquest don't take me to the Hill, it takes me to the golf course or something

I read this a couple hours ago, and thought thats pretty interesting. then i was just browsing peoples myspaces through mine ya know all the friends and the links to more and more people and i came acrost this... pretty ironic huh?

^ k don't quote me on this... but i THINK it might be Steve something or other.. not sure on the last name but it might be a guy named steve. so jea. thats all i know. lol

ya that guy was pretty sick. he was telling me that if teh rail was 6 inches higher he could 450 off it, adn that if there was snow and an actual jump he could do a backflip thingy onto the rail... basically he was hardcore if he was telling the truth

no hes legit i dunno about backie on but he was front flippin' the 60' gap on the last day at Cascade. i got video of it.
