South Park is loosing it.

Wednesday night's episode was the worse episode i have ever seen; Watching people throw up has never been so unappealing. Does anyone else agree?

I actually thought it was a great episode, you just don't understand the context - you must be a liberal pro-life nut or something.

Whattttttt? Scrotie mcbooger balls is genious! If someone told me they thought you were on crack I would probably agree at this point

You mispelled loosening in the subject. And I agree, they are loosening the ropes that bind our senses of humour to what is culturally acceptable and politically correct.

I thought the episode was an attack on conservatives, personally.

I need to go kill some phoneys.

I think South Park is really overrated. I don't really understand people who think it's really smart comedy...

you gotta be kidding me, that episode was perhaps the most liberal bashing, conservative worshiping puke fest ever.

what are u talking about

Are you kidding me? It's a perfect example of all writing. There are always these "deeper meanings" that I guarantee you the author meant nothing by. I was writing about this shit in middle school.

Because you're probably not smart enough to see all the connections. South park, at least the older ones consistently have a point or a moral. Sometimes it's just a story that ties into current events. Family guys, though funny is just, extremely random shit, for the sake of extremely random shit.

I loled at the fact that I've written many essays in primary school and college about this exact thing. Where the teacher wanted us to explain the meaning behind a book, and I explained that the meanings people fund are completely dependent on themselves. Furthermore, I know the authors didn't intentionally put most of what we interpret from the works in them.

So much hate for south park

I think its sweet that we can have shows like that on tv in America.

I don't think it would happen anywhere else so enjoy it!

yeah they used to be funny and subtle. now its just cheap laughs tied into a repeated joke about current events so it's "satire"

i thought the episode was awesome because i completely agree with it. My english teacher brings in all this stuff that is just weird stories from the 1890's, and tells us to interpret it, when all it actually is abunch of crap from the 1890's

family guy never had "it"

comparing Family guy and southpark is like comparing the shit i just left in the toilet to a great work of art.

meh. every south park episode is better than family guy but i think the best of all family guy jokes are better than south park. but i havent seen every sp episode so mabey not

Not really....

I should have expanded above. Sure, South Park has these political and cultural statements, but these are actually pretty simple statements and are surrounded by stupid comedy. The fact that there is some meaning below the surface does not make the stupid comedy smart.

And I'm pretty sure no one claims Family Guy is a smart comedy.

I agree. Very clever and inventive at times, but not "smart". Still, I see no problem with that, it's a great show and I've rgained my faith with the last couple of episodes.

I hate this. Teachers way overanalyze everything to make all sorts of ridiculous conections to things that probably weren't even considered.

i agree with some of the above, sp now has more reoccuring jokes and a story line based on current events. so i guess if that is what you prefer then it keeps getting better.

wow cool south park harping on shit people argue about blah blah blah
they lost it a while ago, sucks....

while we're on the subject of tv shows that dont make me laugh, im gonna claim that i watched an entire episode of Demetri Martin's Important Things, and did not laugh once. that show is fucking anti-funny, and anyone who likes it should have their earlobes sliced off.

Watched that show once. Didn't like it at all. If I wanted to watch a gay cartoon i'd watch spongebob.
