As many of you know, when its summer in Canada, or the US its winter anywhere below that red line on your globes. I'm an instructor and just want any comments or suggestions on my considering teaching down south for a summer, perhaps next year.
Probabaly not as good as chilli but perisher in Australia is pretty good

go to portillo for big mtn. Also the mtns at baraloche aregentina are alright for just skiing there are not really any parks though. If you get your hands on an old ski canada there is a article on portillo chile. So much backcountry there its sick
I'm hearing some good suggestions. Newzealand has been sounding good to me though. I got this email from the CSIA talkin like 2-$3000 for a summer... but I have nothing to compare that against. Sounds a little steep to me.
go to www.nzfreeride.com, it is a month long freeride camp in new zealand from aug to sept. For the whole month its only like 3200, including accomadations. I think i might be going ,it sounds too cool to pass up.
that does sound too cool to pass up. but i'm more intrested in doing it as a summer job. well.. winter there, summer here. you know how it is. i want to go down there to teach, try and make a little money, but thats not really the whole point.
if u want good skiing and a sick winter season, go to new zealand if u are lucky enough to score a job there. look at places around queenstown.
australia is good but it can get pretty expensive there. the ski season is shorter so they have to jack all the prices up. i was coaching at a small resort near perisher and thredbo which i made a bit of money out of but i was lucky to score free accomodation through some contacts.
A couple of my friends are going to New Zealand this summer, staying in Wanaka. One is a qualified instructor, but I don't think he's teaching out there. The other is doing a level 1 snowboard instructor training course there.
Great reasons... but I'm not quite convinced. Give me more of the bikinis. But yeah, I think New Zealand is where I'm going to concentrate on going. If you can give me names of decent resorts, that would be awesome.
is based on the UK scene, but has a shit load of stuff about jobs, with a decent section about nz. lot of reviews on diff resorts and you can look up members who've been there for some ideas
