u can't generalize all civics by saying that they're gay. civics are the best affordable car out there.. mine is a 95, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. i haven't had to make one engine repair yet. i also haven't made any mods to it.. but am i still a gay 'civic guy'?

also, even if i had, what the hell is wrong with it? maybe the people out there that like sooping up cars think skiing is gay? tolerance breeds compassion.

 
Saying that civis are gay is very ignorant. They're amazingly realiable, great on gas, and fun to drive. So what's the problem? Hating a car because of some of the people that drive it is just disturbing.

yes, I like my civic very much. It sat in whistler for 5 months pretty much untouched. I started it up, got an oil change and drove it straight back to Toronto with no problems at all. Not bad for a 12 year old car.

In my view there really isn't that much point in getting some big gas guzzling american car when all you really need is a compact car. My car is fine in winter too, I just put some good all season tires on it and never had a problem. Sure I would like to have a faster or newer car but the truth is I don't really NEED anything more. Niether do most other people.

I'm sorry my friend, but YOU are the one who is a ball licker. If YOU knew anything about cars you would go out and buy a mustang GT for about the same price as a civic, cause I guarantee you can make that car faster than a civic for much less money.

And if you really knew anything about cars you'd go buy a subaru impreza 2.5 rs with all wheel drive and you'd make that fast cause then you could go fast in more than a straight line.

mustang gt aobut the same price as a civic my ass....the cheapest mustang is around 17 and most expenive civic is about 16...and yeah if u wanted an wrx u'd be up to 24.....i hate people that fucking judge civics, my friends brother's SI was sooo quick, he raced a mustang and won and he probably spent 19k tops on it...

Alright here's the thing, you guys have all your propaganda about how civics are cool, and i have all my propaganda on how civics suck ass. But the truth is, CIVICS ARE ECONOMY CARS!!! NOT GO FAST CARS!!! the only reason honda even made the SI is because idiots like you guys (no offense) started souping up their ghetto 80's civic hatchbacks, and they knew that a civic with 160 hp (ohhhh, im so afraid) would sell rather well, it wasnt very much more expensive to make than a regular civic (only the engine's different, maybe rims too) and they could sell it for a whole lot more.

While civics and other such similar hondas can be quick you can only do so much work to a 1.6L 4 banger untill you make it pretty much unstreetable by changing vavle timing and such.

personally i prefer the v-8s and not the big blocks even though you can get mad horsepower and torque i like the lighter higher revving small blocks less weight is always good and if you put a big engine in you have to take the weight out somewhere. remember torque is only as fat as your cubes. i also prefer the older cars for these engines cuz you can do all the work on them yourselves. but my dad also owns a 91 civic and i find it fun to drive and it handles like a go kart but is the smallest fucker ever and i even got backed up and almost thru the windsheild in a parking lot cuz of its smallness. but you know what ever you dig if you want a lil honda thats light and cheap whatever but i know ill stick to the old cars and the v-8 power mmmmm

haha my fucking 66 dodge dart smoked a honda crx and 94 civic that tried to chase me mind you it has only 145hp and had 6 people in the car and had shot rear leafs and i tore them up down a windy street and then smoked em on the straight they just caught up cuz it stopped like a train no power brakes or steering for that matter drums all around and only a single chambered master cylinder. i couldnt figure out how a lowered crx couldnt keep up with my boat in the corners

And to the smart guy who said you can get a cheap ass mustang for the price of a civic is smoking fucking rocks. For 17 grand i could buy a 94 hatchback and drop a ITR motor in it and smoke your fucking ass. And yes they are very fun to drive, i will run circles around your ass in my car.
