Hey, I had never heard of these guys before but I saw them last night in Portland, they seriously rocked. Any fans out there?

i'm a fan. i like their music a lot. very trippy. was the conscious alliance at the show collecting canned good?

Yeah, I think they were... there were a few booths in the corner, anyway. One was for some salmon protection group.

Hey whatever. If it's on the east coast it sucks balls. Come out west. You'll shit you pants just looking at some of our terrain. Goddamn I hate all the fuckers like you on this site. Fuck off you cunt.

It's difficult to put a genre on them... I'd call it jam band/techno... that's about the closest you can get.

I've seen both bands live, and I think these guys blow The New Deal away. While the new deal's jams are real catchy and fun, the sound tribe show i went to blew my mind.

^^ the new deal is dope as shit live, sts9 is very talented as well. and on another note i just had some strange posting issues i was trying to quote this person up here^^ and it was telling me that i could not because the text i was quoting was not a part of the original text, I did not alter anything so yep... i wonder if by the time this posts I will have multiple duplicate posts... long story shot sts9 and the new deal should be seen live.

seeing them live was awsome their beats just build up on eachother and you feel such a great vibe throughout the show

artifact: perspectivces cd has a lot of remixes of their stuff with hiphop over it i think i'll be listening to that a bunch this year on the slopes

im bumpin this thread cause im listening to the tribe that got me hooked. their older shit. peaceblaster can suck one.

seen em around 5 times...probably my favorite band to see live. if you havent experienced sts9 live you need to get on it asap, and bring some drugs with you

yea man i've seen em live and im buying tickets to see them again in march. couldn't agree with you more on the drug note hahaha

i disagree with your statement that disco biscuits>Sts9. if disco buscuits would just jam they'd be better, but their irritating singer ruins it.

Sts9 was better before peaceblaster came out not 2003. up until mid 2008 their sound was only getting better and their jams were sick. then peaceblaster came out and i agree that album sucks.

but either way jam bands are definitly the best music to see live and ill keep seeing whoever comes my way.
