I just got done watching Soul Purpose and I thought it was really good, super progressive. Sage's part is really good and well rounded. He hits some sweet natural stuff and skis some nice lines. Marc Andre has an amazing part landing switch in pow doing some sick tricks like a cork 5. Also Skogen has a really good part. He spins unnatural a bunch and lands some sick 180s of cliffs. Those three segs alone were worth it for me. The rest of the parts show some great big mountain action. Also there is a cool part with Tanner R killing this table at Stowe. That kid is soo fucking smoooth.

damn i keep thinking of more stuff to say.

But yeah, progression really is in the backcountry, the trailers for the movies i watched this year really are full of 'has been done before' tricks, minus a lot of stuff in the WSKI106 trailer and some other achievements.

But many of the people on here have never rode powder, so you can't understand what it's like to ski powder fakie. The only fakie powder skiing I've done was on windblown pow so it was a lot easier than what guys like Marc Andre are doing and even when I was skiing fakie pow it was pretty hard because on a steep slope you really pick up speed. Sure lots of people probably can LAND switch in pow whether it be luck or they actually know how to do it, but to ride it out smooth is a whole different story.

I'm not trying to make you guys like this kind of stuff, I'm just saying, take your head out of your ass, this guy gives a good review on the movie and you guys bash him questioning his taste. Everyone likes different things, live with it. If it's not your type of movie, don't bother posting.

tgr always comes out with something really worthwhile, their movies aren't all that polished and often get monotonous at times, but you get my point. anywho, i really wanna see it too because i think they always have better big mountain and thats what i'm all about.

I just got done watching it, and I thought it was good. The editing, I have to say was super good. The music was good for the most part. I thought the skiing was really good too. I love watching backcountry stuff though.

I didn't have any intrest in seeing High Life but for some reason Soul Purpose has piqued m curiosity this year. I don't know why. But I want to see it.

High Life is definitely one of the best movies that came out last year... its better than Soul Purpose.... take a chance... check it out.

X=10 is the best all round movie, its got a little of everything, and some supa sick stuff.Thats my favorite

I live in the east and man, big mountain seriously rocks my socks! Even though I have never skied powder or lines like that, I still on the same token, have never seen stuff done like that before when I first watched big mountain skiing. So it just amazes me.
