Soul Crew Summer Edit

We didn't get to film a ton over the summer since I was gone most of the time, but I decided to put what we did get into a little summer edit. After watching the edit through a few times, I realized it had sort of a dreamy feel because of all the Glidecam shots, so I went with a slight dream theme.

Critiques are welcome, but I'll start by listing off the things I'm not happy with:

-I still need a good font, haven't figured that out yet.

-I wish I had had more sound to go along with the footage. Unfortunately my Magic Lantern keeps defaulting to an external mic or something so a lot of my footage from my T2i has no sound with it.

-Too many Glidecam shots. I think it works well with the theme and I was really loving my Glidecam over the summer, but I just wish I had some more solid tripod shots.

-The filming in the golf segment is very sloppy. However, we were all quite intoxicated (even though it may not look like it), so you'll have to excuse the filming a little.

Really nice vibe! Very relaxing to watch, loved the song too.

Also, and don't be offended by this, but the girl in the bikini has a great rack.

No.

Haters gonna hate, I fell in love with my glidecam this summer too. There's so many ways to get creative with a glidecam, but I do agree tripod shots are always important

My only complaint is that the song didnt fit the golfing part as well as it fit the rest but otherwise it was great

really enjoyed that!

look like everyone left the boat except you and the girl in the bikini.... nice.

There was this one reel I saw and it was the most amazing glidecam work I've ever seen. It's all about the mindstate the a glidecam is more of a dolly without a track. or atleast that's how I think when using my glidecam

Only the beginning night shots, the shot at 1:06, and the shot at 2:32 were filmed with the FS100. all the rest is T2i
