ok so heres the deal, msp blows nutsack cause their movies are in slow mo and all the good newschool and urban footy is someone elses. the movies are soo boring they suck. the claim to be progressive in newschool but they are far from it. they are a good big mountain film. not newschool. and they bought a good review from freeskier who had a terribble review for them that fit msp well

personally I'm just bored of there movie
last year I went to the yearbook premiere in montreal and I tought the movie was boring, sur I liked some parts but 1h and something of slow mo sucks I mean ok It'S cool to se 1 or 2 great shot in slow mo in a part but the whole damn part in slo-mo man I want to see something that feels like real skiing. about there work ethics I've never heard what he said to Berman.

msp is big budget and thats their only claim to fame right now...this "commotion" is an attempt to have no one buy their movie...which woudl eb sweet cause maybe it be the kick in the balls they need to start making SM3's again

I like how noone has filled him in. But im tired. Ill think of a couple things off the top of my head.
- Winter's angry message on bermans answering machine. Winter was cutting a bunch of bermans footage that he had previously agreed to use, and was also paying much less for it. He went on to say that smaller film companies like level 1 were just going to get phased out by big companies like his own. There was some other bullshit about taking riders based on sponsor contracts with msp.
- a distributor for poorboyz and msp (justpushplay or one of those, i forget im tired) was going to put X on the cover of thier catalog, winter got pissed off and threatened to take thier video out if they didnt get the cover
Yeah, there is alot of stuff i didnt cover but msp has been doing alot of harm to the ski movie industry (apparently) and there is a little romour about winter attempting to sue this very site for the slander about his company that is occuring on the message boards. Keep in mind that this all could be bullshit, and dont quote me on anything because im out of it right now.

Maybe every movie company should produce the same cookie-cutter format seizure-inducing action music videos with so many fucking cuts it reminds you of an Ed Gein victim.
Who cares if they have slo-mo. Using that as a basis for your argument of why MSP is "gay" is pretty bad. Music choice in some situations is much worse than an inclussion of slo-mo scenes ever would be. Yearbook wasn't as sick as SM3 and Focused, but it still has a bunch of good segments.

its not enough to just "not buy the movie". not for me anyway. skiing has its own kinda of mellowness. the kind that gets corrupted when people such as msp attempt to "make millions" by exploiting people/companies who have no such intentions. the people they exploit are doing it for skiing, not a bag of money. i dont think that all this hate will result in the collapse of the msp empire (althoguh that does sound apealing). however maybe it will encourage them to get their shit together and not be such pricks to our loveable skiing world.
