Sorry I effed that last one up, lets try again. SKIING IN COLLEGE

I believe that skiing in college does not happen because of the low populous of the inner city in which the now occurs slightly but not much. If all the inner city colleges had maps maybe they could ski the outdoors and learn where snow is. There are many uneducated college students in this country and in Africa but they don't have trail maps to help them find their way down the mountain.

her firewall at schools messed up herers what she tried to say:
I'm sure there has already been threads made, but I can't find any

So, It's Senior year and i've gotta figure out where I wanna spend the next few years. I really want to be close to mountains and go to a sick school. I don't want to live in the middle of nowhere and give up the college experience. I'm hoping there will be a ski community. I'm a park rat so that's important too. I live in L.A so i'm loving the city vibes. I'm from Jersey/Boson so i'd prefer to not go back to the East coast.

also, I wanna study pre-med, and most schools offer that so its not a big deal but i'm just throwin that out there

here's what i've got so far, I'd love some other suggestions and opinions!

UVM--> except its east coast
UC Boulder-->kinda far from mountains i think
U of Denver
U of Utah-->Dry state

I know i'm being particular but i'm trying to find a good match. Thanks guys!

If you're from California you should look into UC davis. Its like 1 1/2 to 2 hours to tahoe and you would get in state tution.

Making the assumption that Utah is a dry state is stupid. If you want to drink here, it's minimally more difficult than anywhere else, and that's a stupid reason to not come to utah.

Seriously... I have been living here for a month and a half no problem with booze. if you mean "utah is dry" being no weed here that is also wrong. You are a girl too, getting into frats will be cake.
Everyone sterotypes Utah as having tons and tons of mormons with no beer or weed or no fun in general. The only thing I have found true about the above statement is there are a lot of mormons BUT there are also a lot of skiers who love to have a fun time and get drunk/party.
All in all, UofU is the shit

if you think utah is dry ontario is worse. we have the same stores we have to get it from, AND the CHEAPEST 24 case you can pick up is 28 bucks. corona pushes 40 and heiniken tops it. Yep.

Well, atleast its not 3.2 percent. Can you even get drunk off that?

CU boulder pretty much fits the bill for what you described, I skied 90 days last year while being in school, so if you really wanna get up to the mountains, its not that far/hard. not to mention Breck/Keystone slay it in the park department. Boulder as a town is a great place to live, plenty to do. I personally would say that you'll have a better time at CU than DU too, I have plenty of friends at DU, and they always come up here to rage, never the opposite. There is a reason for that. Hope that helps

U of U homie.
dry state- really doesn't get in the way of partying.mormons that run everything- not really.
there's great skiing, PC for park, amazing snow, rad people.

Damn that's like $2000 in gas money, Breckenridge is almost 100 miles away from boulder. Living on the front range sucks for skiing, it can be done, but it's fucking lame. But if you must have your precious cities.....

shit dude, i was looking into that for the longest time, but the whole outta stat tuition thing is harsh, i woulda fucking loved it up there, marquette and bohemia ftw

And its actually 4%, 3.2 by weight = 4 by volume. All of you keystone light lovers out there in college (probably at least 50%), keystone light is only 4.2% by volume, meaning utah beer has .2% less than what half the the college drinkers out there drink. So yes, you can get drunk off of it.

^or you could jsut sack up and go to the state goverment run liquor stores and buy Olde english HG that shit is 8%, 3 of those bad boys will get u on ur ass shited.
