well thats cool, but which would you rather have? a better team or better fans? good luck getting to the super bowl this year, all you will have to do is get by new england and im sure that will be a cake walk for your 10-6 steelers. New england sucks dick. Tom brady is a fag plus his foot is fuct up he hasnt taken a snap in a preseason game be cause of it. The steelers might not go all the way but neither will the pats. The steelers are a way better team.

i myself am a pats fan and have been for years. even before they actually started winning and games against the jets were worth watching (sorry jets fans). but this year, the pats are in serious trouble. its not gonna be their year and that has to be accepted. i doubt anyone will beat them out of the AFC East but i doubt they'l make it past the first round.

Annnnnnd, I'm not worried about the patriots until I see what they do next week against KC. No brady = no offense, and our running game blew because we couldn't pass for shit and teams were stacking the box. Defense should be better, anyone who watched the pats this preseason would know the pats almost always played a vanilla D and BB didn't show anything. Its far too predicable and once the season gets going we'll have a much better gauge of what to expect.

Romeo Crennel is a good coach, they were decent last year and added a lot this year so they could be pretty good

I'm not saying anything about the pats until I see game 1 versus Kansas City, because based on talent alone we should go 19-0. Pre-season means shit
 
no one in this thread has any idea what theyre talking about. After taking a quick look at the moneylines for week 1, the patriots are the largest spread favorite of any game in week 1. Anyone who says the browns are shit and their highschool teams can beat them obviously havent watched any football - they are only a 4 point underdog to the cowboys.

That being said, the browns are the single most overrated team in the nfl right now. They are not winning their division. period. they suck dick. derek anderson had a hugely flukey year and didnt he just get a concussion or something that would put him out for a while? They were 10-6 in the easiest schedules of the league. the steelers are among the most underated right now. big ben is nasty. he had a great qb rating last year and he shows great poise in the pocket. hes mobile, hard to tackle, and he got a new tall receiver for 08. hines ward is still good and parker ties up the run game pretty well.

I see the patriots going 14-2 ish

steelers going 11-5

browns going 8-8 maybe 7-9.

remember after spygate came out, and the pats played their asses of in week 2 and fucking destroyed the chargers last year? get ready for a whole season of that motivation. plus randy moss and brady actually have some familiarity with one another now. i don't want to jinx things, but all the teams in the pats division are fucking jokes...we play 8/16 games against them...brady isn't playing because bellichek wants you to think he's hurt...remember he's a sneaky bastard?? the only thing i'm worried about is brady getting distracted from time to time

youre retarded mike. have you taken a look at the browns schedule? they play the nfc east which will be tough, but they can def beat the giants and the skins. i bet they go 10-6 or 11-5. the steelers arent underrated at all, everyone said last year that they were the second best team in the nfl. merril hoge thought that they were better than the pats.

okay i agree the steelers aren't GREAT. and they didn't have the talent close to the pats last ear, merril hoge is an idiot. but seriously, the browns going 10-6 or 11-5?! oh wow. i'm not sure if that's ever even happened. they will not be good no matter what. if you put a pro bowl team in browns uniforms, they would be horrible. it's just a fact of life.
 
umm sorry i hate to say but youre a little wrong there, the pats were fenominal especially in 96, which ended up with them at the superbowl, losing to the packers, but finishing their season 13-6... which is pretty damn good, and i totally agree, that the pas havent always been good, whoever said the browns are shit and always will be, is an idiot think about baseball, its been around longer, and teams can suck for a very long time, but come back and be amazing... take the perfect example of the red sox, hadnt been truly great since early 1900s and have now won 2 of the past 4 world series, also, they suck now, does that mean that teams cant change performance? i think i just proved my point

im not gonna gaurantee that theyll make the playoffs, but i think theyll go between 9-7 and 11-5. theyre a pretty solid team
 
Those are all good points, i think ben has the ability to be a GREAT quarterback with the help of a good o-line, but the way there line is right now ben will be good not great. Not to mention Mendihal (sp) will be helping wille parker out with the workload this year.
 
9-7 might win the division. Mike, you're dumb, just because I said the browns will win the division doesn't mean they'll be good. I can see both the browns and steelers going 9-7, and the browns getting the playoff spot. Maybe 10-6 again.
